Hooray!!!

We reached our goal of $9,200.00!!! Thank you to EVERYONE who has generously donated. Thank you also for sharing our website with your family and friends. We are blown away by how quickly the money has been raised and we thank God for every dollar donated.

If you were planning on donating but haven’t yet, you STILL can. There always seem to be unexpected costs for projects like this. Especially in a 3rd world country! (i.e. there are some cables Francois needs to buy that will run the electricity from the solar panels to each of the four buildings on his property). Francois will know more about the costs for the cables next week.

Also, my dad is still raising funds through Loving Haiti for his 7 week stay with Francois. He is raising funds to give rice, beans and oil to the widows of the community. Also, to help with any projects or costs he comes across during his stay.
