Francois and Madam noticed a large number of children in their community needing to go to school but unable to, because of finances. In October of 1982 they opened a primary school for children in their community of Pignon for little or no tuition.
The school is located on Francois’ property right next to his church.
When financially feasible, they provide lunch for all the students, which for many of the children is their only meal of the day.
There are around 250 students and 10 teachers.
