Madam saw the inequality of opportunity for employment for Haitian women and she decided to do something about it.  In October of 1985 Madam started a sewing center to teach the women of the community a skill that will help to provide for their family.  Currently they have around 15 women enrolled.

Francois and Madam noticed a large number of children in their community needing to go to school but unable to, because of finances.  In October of 1982 they opened a primary school for children in their community of Pignon for little or no tuition.
