Although education is essential, we recognize there are other keys to alleviating conditions of poverty. Good leadership and management skills, access to business capital and enough work to materially care for oneself or family are essential to economic development. We believe if individuals are better equipped and empowered for the marketplace, greater opportunities would present themselves. The likelihood of achieving real change (physical, intellectual, spiritual and material), in real time, would occur.

One tool we provide to facilitate economic development is our Micro/Macro Loan Program. These $100-$5000 no-interest loans help provide the needed capital to start a new business, sustain an existing business or simply assist with the purchase of a product or service to support business, professional or personal development. Loans are only considered after having developed relationships with potential recipients over time.  Business plan development, sound business practices and good stewardship principles are discussed before a business plan is submitted.  The potential recipient’s business plan and loan repayment schedule are agreed upon before the loan is granted.
